Program Set for Nearshoring America Expo

With only about two weeks before it opens in Dallas, programming details have been set for the three-day event.

Final preparations are being made for the first-ever Nearshoring America Expo being held Dec. 9 to 11 at the Dallas Market Center. This exclusive exhibition will feature an invitation-only showcase of factories, shelter companies and supply chain providers, pre-selected and chosen for their proven track record and ability to support the industry’s importers.

Participants will hail from Mexico and other Latin American countries, including Brazil and Colombia. The show floor will feature a uniform presentation of each participant showcasing their supply chain capabilities, ready to engage with attendees regarding terms, product development and production.

The Expo kicks off on Monday, Dec. 9 with the show floor opening at 9am and running through 5pm, followed by a welcome reception. Tuesday features the same exhibition hours and includes two seminars for attendees and then things wrap up on Wednesday with the show floor open until 12 noon.

There will be two informational/educational sessions on the schedule. At 2pm the Expo will present “Is the Nearshoring Trend in Latin American Manufacturing a Sustainable Reality or Just Buzz?” moderated by Javier Zarazua, the principal of JL Nearshoring Mexico.

Speakers include: Jason Wolf, president of Novalink: Luis Ernesto Rojas Ávila, director general for COFOCE; and John Cuttino of CISBRA. This session will focus on the critical steps in launching nearshore manufacturing initiatives in Mexico and Brazil.

Attendees will learn about selecting the right production model, navigating regulatory landscapes, forming strong local partnerships and creating resilient supply chains.

This session will be followed at 2:45pm by “Optimizing Nearshore Operations: Strategies for Sourcing, Shipping, and Production Efficiency.” Speakers include: Manuel Russek of Blu Capital, Juan Francisco Collado of Allianza Importers, and Kallie Parchman of Prima Reliable Sourcing & Manufacturing.

The session brings together industry experts to discuss both the immediate and long-term strategies for optimizing nearshore operations. Speakers will highlight best practices in sourcing, shipping and distribution, while also addressing how to ensure the sustainability and growth of nearshore manufacturing. Attendees will learn how to accelerate time to market, maintain high-quality standards and maximize cost efficiency through nearshoring, while navigating cultural dynamics and fostering long-term partnerships for sustained success.
